Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 September 2026
This policy explains how LinkHelp handles information when you use the LinkHelp Chrome extension, the website at linkhelp.io, and the LinkHelp account and billing services (together, “LinkHelp”). LinkHelp is operated by BUBBLESTACK LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy does not cover BizWik.
The short version
- Your LinkedIn login session stays in your browser. The extension uses it to act on LinkedIn on your behalf, and it is never sent to our servers.
- Your audiences, campaigns, message history and exports are stored in your browser, not on our servers.
- Our servers hold your account and subscription details. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your full card number.
- When you use LinkHelp AI, the profile details needed for that request are sent through our server to Google’s Gemini API to generate text. We don’t keep that content.
- We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Information that stays in your browser
The extension stores the following in your browser’s local extension storage. It is not sent to our servers, and removing the extension deletes it.
- Your LinkedIn session. The extension reads your LinkedIn session cookie and security token so it can send requests to LinkedIn as you, the same way LinkedIn’s own website does.
- Your work in LinkHelp. Audiences, campaign and message settings, message templates, records of connection requests and messages already sent (so the same person isn’t contacted twice), and your LinkHelp AI settings.
- Information about other LinkedIn members. When you build an audience or export connection details, the extension saves information that LinkedIn shows you about those members, such as names, headlines, locations, work history, education and contact details they have chosen to share with you. If you turn on the company-website option in an export, the extension also visits the public website of that member’s employer, from your browser, to look for published business contact details.
- Exports. CSV files you export are created in your browser and saved to your device.
Information we receive and store
Your account
When you start using LinkHelp, the extension sends us your LinkedIn member identifiers, profile username, name, email address, country and language. We use this to create and recognise your account and to apply your plan.
Subscriptions and payments
Payments are processed by Stripe, which collects your card details directly. We store your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, your plan and billing period, and the card brand, last four digits and expiry date that Stripe returns, so we can show your billing details.
Affiliate program
If you join our affiliate program, we also store your affiliate code, the commissions you earn, your balance and the payout requests you make.
LinkHelp AI
When you use LinkHelp AI, the extension sends the details needed for that request to our server: the relevant information shown on the LinkedIn profile you are viewing (such as name, headline, current role, company, experience and skills), any description of yourself you have added in LinkHelp AI settings, and the kind of text you asked for. Our server passes this to Google’s Gemini API to generate the text and returns it to you. We don’t store the profile details or the generated text. We keep a count of AI requests per account, to apply plan limits.
We use your email address to send service messages about your account and subscription. We may also send product updates using Mailchimp; every such email includes an unsubscribe link.
The website
linkhelp.io does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics tools. Our hosting and content delivery providers process standard technical information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and secure the site, and may set cookies strictly necessary for that.
How we use information
We use the information above only to:
- provide LinkHelp’s features and apply your plan and its limits;
- process payments, subscriptions and affiliate payouts;
- respond to support requests and send service messages;
- send product updates, if you haven’t unsubscribed;
- keep LinkHelp secure, and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Service providers
We share information only with providers that help us run LinkHelp, and only what they need:
- Stripe for payments and subscriptions;
- Google (Gemini API) to generate text for LinkHelp AI;
- Mailchimp for email updates;
- LWS (France) for hosting our servers;
- Cloudflare for content delivery and security.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our legal rights, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising.
- We don’t use extension data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
- We don’t transfer extension data to third parties except as described in this policy, as needed to provide LinkHelp’s features, or as required by law.
The use of information received by the LinkHelp extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Your responsibilities
You decide which LinkedIn members LinkHelp processes information about, and how you use that information. You are responsible for doing so lawfully, including complying with applicable data protection laws and with LinkedIn’s terms.
Retention and deletion
We keep account and billing information while your account is active, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting obligations. To delete your account data, email us at the address below. Information stored by the extension in your browser is deleted when you remove the extension.
Security
Information travelling between the extension, the website and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS, and access to our systems is limited to people who need it to run LinkHelp. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to fix issues promptly.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. California residents may request to know and delete the personal information we hold; we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in California law. To exercise any of these rights, email us. We will respond within 30 days.
International transfers
Our servers are hosted in France, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, these transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
Children
LinkHelp is a tool for professionals and is not intended for anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change significantly affects how we handle your information, we will tell you by email or in the extension before it takes effect.
